CONTROLES COMPORTAMENTAIS: ESCOLHAS RACIONAIS E O CONSUMO DE ENERGIA ELÉTRICA NO REINO UNIDO
Resumo
Mediante revisão bibliográfica dos conceitos inerentes à racionalidade limitada dos agentes econômicos, este estudo ambiciona desvendar os insights teóricos implícitos nos resultados atingidos pelo programa engendrado pela agência reguladora do setor elétrico britânico, em iniciativa do British Office of Gas and Electricity Markets. Isto é, com base nas verificações empíricas da literatura científica sobre economia comportamental, objetiva-se jogar luz sobre os achados daquele programa, em seus esforços pela redução do consumo de energia elétrica domiciliar, de modo a verificar a adequação de suas medidas e respectivos resultados no que tange às elucidações teóricas disponíveis para a sua interpretação.
