Ordinance No. 620/2021 ff the Ministry of Labor and Pension Insurance from the Perspective of the Economic Analysis of Law

Abstract

This article aims to study, through the Economic Analysis of Law (AED), Ordinance n.º 620/2021 from the Ministry of Labor and Pension Insurance focusing on the impact on the labor market. In order to do so, a small introduction about AED is necessary, after an economic and political context in Brazil in the years 2015 to 2020 to analyze the possibilities of state intervention in the economy in the face of market failures and, finally, an analysis of the Brazilian labor market before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
