Call for Submissions for the Continuous Flow

2024-06-05

The Revista Direito Público (RDP) announces the reopening of the continuous flow, with the aim of publishing original and unpublished articles, which adopt innovative methodological, theoretical and empirical approaches to the legal field, accepting cross-cutting and interdisciplinary themes, in accordance with the provisions of the editorial line.

The Committee's analysis will be based on research that explores empirical methodological approaches and robust and innovative literature reviews for the field, bringing an up-to-date and pertinent reference to the theme, with a critical character.

We emphasize the responsibility of authors when submitting original and unpublished articles, as this implies that the text has not been published in part or in full in books, or that it is under evaluation in another journal, and it is up to the Revista Direito Público to reject it for not complying with the editorial standards, in addition to characterizing ethical misconduct on the part of the authors.

As stated in the guidelines for authors: (https://www.portaldeperiodicos.idp.edu.br/direitopublico/about/submissions), the evaluation process includes a number of stages, namely:

1 - Initial/formal screening: refers to the analysis of the rules and guidelines for authors, carried out by the Editorial Committee (Editor-in-Chief; Deputy Editor; and, Associate Editors). At this stage, the article may be rejected if it does not comply.

2 - Quality Screening: The Editorial Committee and experts in the field are responsible for analyzing the article proposal in relation to the Journal's editorial line, which involves a content analysis.

3 - Blind evaluation: The final phase of evaluation includes the participation of the editorial board, i.e. ad hoc national and foreign referees, who evaluate the article according to scientific criteria in the field, as well as the state of the art of the subject, in addition to analyzing specific elements of the field and the journal. This phase is what results in the editorial decision regarding the article, weighing up quality and scientific dissemination.

We will accept articles written in Portuguese, English, Italian, Spanish, German and French.

Sincerely

Editorial Committee of the Revista Direito Público
