Uma análise da antropologia da burocracia estatal

Abstract

This article constitutes a doxography of the field of anthropology of state bureaucracy, also known as political anthropology, anthropology of the State, of public power, of public institutions or of organizations. We return to the State, a subject dear to Law, with the objective of outlining the main contributions of the anthropology of state bureaucracy to legal research in Brazil. The research method for this theoretical exploration consisted of literature analysis of the anthropology of state bureaucracy. The article delimits the field of studies; discusses the concept of "bureaucracy"; and presents the main contributions of the field of anthropology of bureaucracy to legal research by rendering the concepts of State and Law less normative, homogeneous and univocal. It concludes that it is necessary to have an interdisciplinary approach to studies on the State and its institutions.
