Abstract

This work is based on the theoretical-methodological method of dialectical historical materialism, it is characterized as a qualitative and field research, developed at the Colégio de Administração at the Federal University of Pernambuco (CAp-UFPE), based on a documentary and bibliographical survey , based on institutional reports from the Social Service and also on information on the Transparency Portal, which, based on content analysis, allow us to reflect on the conditions of public education provision in force during the (un)Bolsonaro government between 2018-2021, evidencing the project of dehumanization of subordinate classes, the dismantling and defunding of educational policy and the challenges faced in educational public policy, bringing damage to the formation of citizens, highlighting the violation of the right to education, especially in the course of the Covid-19 Pandemic in state of Pernambuco, given the context of crisis and the increase in educational and social inequality al, with the open purpose of expanding and naturalizing social segregation and the process of reproduction of social relations, of exploitation of one class over another. We seek to highlight the challenges faced in the technical-operative dimension of Social Work and the coping strategies adopted in the face of precarious work, to assign answers to social issues, aggravated in the researched time frame, in addition to combating conservatism, authoritarianism and dehumanization.
